About the Journal

Empirical evidence indicates that there is a substantial gap between healthcare delivery and surgical pathology in Central America compared to developed countries in the Western hemisphere.  However, healthcare data and its dissemination in Central American countries remain limited. The mission of AvaGH is to better understand healthcare in Central America and to drive changes for improvement in patient care. While AvaGH primarily serves as a platform for healthcare providers and other researchers from Central American countries, submissions from other low- and middle- income countries will also be considered.

AvaGH is an open access, blinded peer-reviewed journal.  Submitted manuscripts will be assessed for suitability by the editorial board and then shared for peer-review after initial requirements are met. Accepted manuscripts will be published online free of charge at: www.aidviaaction.org.

We eagerly await your submissions!

Anyone interested in submitting a manuscript, the manuscript should be sent via email to: aid.via.action@gmail.com.
